52 Week Project

In case you haven't been following MomShots, I am working on a 52 Week Project which is basically a weekly compilation of photos of my kids and family. I do this weekly and then at the end of the year I can get them all printed out and have a photo album ready made. I'm excited because it will help me get better at PhotoShop and hopefully my photography will improve as well. Plus, as many photos as I take you'd think I would have photo albums all over the place. I don't. Hopefully this will help remedy that. I'm hoping to also get some great photos for my walls.

Here are the last three weeks collages:

Easy tips to take great photos of kids

I think most of you have seen this but incase you haven't, I wanted to post this here. I got asked to speak at a photography conference last weekend. I taught a class about tips to help you take better photos of children. It was really basic and full of good guidelines that can help photographers of any level. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend downloading the PDF version of my presentation. You can find it when you Click Here.

Here's a shot triptych (series of 3 photos) that I am in love with now. Oh, actually I'll post two triptychs since I love both of them.

Road Trip Photos II

This is a photo from our road trip.  I put it as a separate post because I did two versions of it.  I can't decide which I like better...

You can't really see it from these small images, but under the blue sign there is a sign that says Route 66.  I didn't realize that this was part of that.  I guess this is truly Radiator Springs.
